Doing business in China
Small companies should be looking for business opportunities in China. For the companies that are considering doing business in China the experience gained by John is paramount in avoiding the normal pitfalls involved with doing business over here. During his time working in China John has formed a massive amount of qualified contacts. He is prepared to become involved in the initial stages until you are ready to go on your own.

Business analysis
This is a basic straight forward unbiased appraisal of your organisation with the minimum of fuss. This normally takes 3 to 4 days with the minimum of disruption. There has never been an appraisal undertaken that has not benefited the organisation and covered the initial cost. Expertise over the last 15 years has been gained across a wide area of products and business functions. This is an in-depth analysis after which a ‘prescription’ will be presented of all the major points identified, both good and bad.

Interim Management
For companies that are in transition this service provides a cost effective solution to their management requirements. During this period a full analysis of the organisation will be undertaken. This will enable the Directors to provide the newly appointed manager with a completely unbiased appraisal of the resources available. The maximum duration for this type of project is limited to 12/16 weeks.

Non Executive Directorships
John is the Director of a number of Companies both Chinese and European. He is looking to increase this involvement by being appointed to the Boards of other smaller to medium sized companies as a Non-executive Director. He has a broad experience and is able to stand back from the morass of business details and focus on the critical aspects of a business. He is prepared to undertake projects within the company as part of his duties when appointed.
